1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Handoffs, you agree to these terms. If you disagree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Handoffs is a client portal tool that lets freelancers share project progress, deliverables, and invoices with clients via unique links.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity under it. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Handoffs for illegal purposes, to spam clients, to upload malicious files, or to misrepresent your identity.

5. Payments & Billing

Pro plan subscriptions are processed by Paddle. You may cancel at any time. Refunds are handled per Paddle's refund policy. Downgrading removes Pro features at the end of the billing period.

6. Intellectual Property

All content you upload remains yours. You grant Handoffs a limited license to display it to your clients through the portal. Handoffs owns all platform code and branding.

7. Client Portal Links

Portal links are unique but not password-protected by default. You are responsible for who you share links with. Handoffs is not liable for unauthorized access to unprotected portals.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Handoffs is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime or error-free operation.

10. Limitation of Liability

Handoffs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
